The deadlift from deficit can be used for many different reasons, some of which include:



  • Strengthen an area of deadlift you are weak in

  • Strengthen your lower back (important to keep proper form)

  • Force quads to work harder

  • Strengthen deadlift from the floor

  • Increase flexibility

  • Is a work around for some equipment limitations

  • Can be used to help with injury recovery
